According to the Pennsylvania State Police, four people were sent to York Hospital after a crash in Berwick Township on last night. None of the injuries sustained in the accident on Abbottstown Pike outside One Stop Motors looked “life-threatening at this point,” Trooper Christopher Pasquale said. One person was flown via STAT MedEvac 13 of Thomasville and three were taken by ambulances to York Hospital.
The accident occurred when a green Nissan Xterra allegedly crashed into a silver Geo Prizm. The driver of the Prizm had been waiting for a GMC Yukon XL to turn left on Abbottstown Pike, police said. The Nissan Xterra had one passenger while three passengers were in the Geo Prizm, and the GMC Yukon XL had six passengers without any injuries, Pasquale said.
Pennsylvania State Police will be continuing to investigate the accident
