Shawn L. Jackson, 19, of 531 Guilick St, Blossburg, was charged by state police recently with accident involving death or personal injury while license is suspended or revoked.
The charge was filed after Jackson allegedly crashed his car and injured a passenger.
According to documents filed at District Judge James Carlson’s office, Jackson was speeding on Block Road in Hamilton Township Sept. 1, lost control of the vehicle and hit a tree.
Jordan Vance hit his head and had to be treated at the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital for contusions.
Jackson was issued a summons for an Oct. 17 preliminary hearing.
