On January 2, 2013, Governor Corbett filed an antitrust lawsuit against the NCAA seeking to have the sanctions Penn State agreed to stricken. Some people believe this was filed solely for political purposes, including his seeking re-election in two years while some believe it is a valid case of protecting the people. Some people think he should not have acted without conferring with Attorney General-elect Kathleen Kane.
Scott Cooper, a Schmidt Kramer Injury Lawyer, Partner and the President of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice Was a guest on the Rick Smith Show to discuss these and other issues. Listen to his comments on the Rick Smith website on the January 2, 2013 broadcast.
