The Lebanon Daily News is reporting that a 22-year-old Lebanon man was killed last night in a two-vehicle crash in the 1900 block of East Cumberland Street (Route 422) in South Lebanon Township. Police said Zakari Alan Bennett of 523 Cumberland St., Apartment 2, Lebanon, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police were dispatched at 7:10 p.m. for a reported two-vehicle crash with roll over and injuries. Occupants of both vehicles sustained injuries.
At least three people were involved in the accident, according to dispatch reports, One person was flown by Life Lion to Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Derry Township. A 7-year-old child also was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital by ambulance and later transferred to Hershey Medical Center, according to on-scene dispatch reports.
The Lebanon County Accident Reconstruction Team is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
