The Lancaster New Era online edition is reporting today, October 23, 2014, that emergency crews responded late last night to a two-vehicle crash in Salisbury Township near Gap. According to report, units were dispatched around 10:30 p.m. to the 5200 block of Newport Road (Route 772), just north of Route 30. Officials arriving at the scene reported a collision between a van and a car. All of the occupants were reported to be out of the vehicles. Initial reports indicated there may be up to five patients, however, officials later said three people would need transported to the hospital. The extent of their injuries wasn’t immediately known; indications were that none were life-threatening.
