Schmidt Kramer is pleased to share some clips from a recent interview attorney Jessica Mitchell gave to the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR) in honor of Women’s History Month.
One of the things Jessica spoke to the NOSSCR about relates to her passion for the law and ability to help others. In Jessica’s legal practice at Schmidt Kramer Law, she focuses on Social Security disability. As a Social Security lawyer, Jessica advocates for people who are suffering from an unexpected illness or injury. Jessica says that helping individuals get benefits when they find themselves unable to continue in their careers is something she finds especially fulfilling.
Jessica has been a member of the NOSSCR since 2013. This specialized bar association was formed in 1979. The first NOSSCR conference on Social Security disability law was presented to 100 lawyers in New Orleans. Today, there are more than 3,000 members in all 50 states. The NOSSCR continues to provide high quality education and resources to attorneys and other advocates for people suffering from illnesses, injuries and disabilities.
In a clip from the NOSSCR interview, Jessica shares some insights from her own work experience as a woman and attorney in the legal industry.
