Along with being known for determination and diligence in the court room, the Schmidt Kramer is also recognized for its frequent philanthropic work. Monday, August 4, 2014 was no exception, as the injury lawyers hosted the annual UCP/Schmidt Kramer Golf Tournament at the Carlisle Country Club.
This year marks the 28th anniversary of the charitable event, and was hosted by Schmidt Kramer partners Chuck Schmidt, Scott Cooper, and Gerry Kramer. Along with golfing on a picturesque 18-hole course, attendees were also able to enjoy live and silent auctions, prizes, and a buffet lunch and dinner. Mark Singel served as the 2014 Honorary Chair.
Proceeds from the event will help to assist the programs and services provided by the United Cerebral Palsy Foundation of Central Pennsylvania. The UCP Foundation of Central PA works to provide programs and other services for children and adults with disabilities. UCP Central PA helps over 4,000 people located in 15 counties across Central Pennsylvania, providing recreational, employment, housing, and many other services to those in need. Visit UCP Central PA Services for more information about the programs they provide for our community.
