According to the Lock Haven Express, both drivers in a two-vehicle wreck Saturday, May 4, 2013, were killed. The accident took place on Route 120, a mile above Renovo, when a 2012 Suzuki Kizashi driven west by Maggie Lee Clemente, of Shintown swerved into the opposite lane and struck a 2013 Ford F-150 head on. Clemente’s car then crossed the roadway again and hit an embankment, stopping on the road.
The pickup went off the road, struck a Norfolk Southern train car, and stopped after hitting a utility pole, police said. The pickup truck driver, Richard Trimmer, and his passenger, Micole Trimmer, both of York Springs, were taken by ambulance to Bucktail Medical Center. Richard was pronounced dead at the medical center.
