One man was killed in a three-vehicle crash on Route 30 in Manheim Township on Monday morning, according to officials.
The accident occurred just before 7 a.m. in the westbound lanes near the Route 23 interchange. Manheim Township police said one vehicle overturned.
The victim, whose name was not released Monday, was pronounced dead at the scene by Deputy Coroner Kristin Rutt, according to county Coroner Dr. Stephen Diamantoni.
Police said he was a passenger in one of the vehicles.
Westbound traffic was detoured for about five hours around the accident, using the Route 23 exit and on ramps.
The crash remained under investigation Monday night. Police ask anyone who witnessed the accident to contact them at 569-6401.
The victim was the 28th person killed in traffic accidents in Lancaster County this year, according to newspaper and county records.
