Schmidt Kramer is pleased to announce Aisha Kamara as the winner of our 2023 Schmidt Kramer Annual Scholarship for Academic Excellence.
Each year, a scholarship of $1,500 will be awarded to a Pennsylvania student who is actively enrolled at an accredited university or college and has a minimum GPA of 3.0. For an opportunity to win, each participant must submit an essay with a minimum of 500 original words.
This year’s topic, selected by Schmidt Kramer, is an explanation of how the youth of today can help positively contribute to shaping the legal system of the future.
A portion of Aisha’s winning essay submission follows:
“Young people who take an interest in and contribute to their communities may be a driving force in government reform and improvement. When governments actively engage young people in open government programs, everyone benefits, both on an individual level and in terms of societal and economic growth. By providing governments with new ideas and techniques, and ensuring that policy decisions are attentive to the concerns of young people, for example, both may foster the growth of innovative enterprises and projects.”
Congratulations, Aisha on your winning essay entry and on being the 2023 winner of the annual Schmidt Kramer scholarship for academic excellence!
