A couple from Pittsford, New York was killed Friday afternoon May 10, 2013 while traveling on Interstate 81 just south of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The tractor trailer crash happened around 4:10 p.m. Pennsylvania State Police say traffic was slowing on the highway when a tractor trailer slammed into 64-year-old Kathleen Weed and 63-year-old George Weed’s SUV from behind. Kathleen died upon impact and George was airlifted to the local hospital. George succumbed to his injuries Sunday morning.
