A Schuylkill County man was killed early today after being hit by a tractor trailer, state police said.
The accident occurred just after 1:15 a.m. along Route 209, about quarter mile north of Anderson Street. Sean Malone, of Port Carbon, was crouched over in the southbound lane and was not noticed by the driver of the rig, David Manns, of Pottstown. Malone was pronounced dead at the scene by members of the Schuylkill County coroner’s office.
