A Waynesboro man was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Tomstown Road, according to state police. Police said Whitney A. Freeman, Waynesboro, was existing an alley onto Tomstown Road near Mentzer Gap Road at 5:40 p.m. last Friday when she turned into the path of Clarence W. Lucas, Waynesboro.
Lucas swerved to avoid the collision but his Ford F150 struck Freeman’s Nissan Maxima. He was taken by Waynesboro EMS to Waynesboro Hospital with moderate injuries. Freeman was cited.
